Linda Knight Design Unveils New Site
It is really nice to be from a large family. One of the benefits is that when someone is ill there are lots of people to help out and come visit. Another benefit is having talented siblings. My mother has been in the hospital this week and I have been in Pensacola helping out with her. My sister Judi Knight came down from Atlanta. Judi also does design and build in Atlanta and so we have always shopped together and shared design ideas. Over the past few years Judi has taught herself web design and been active in Social Network Marketing. This has come in handily now with the building/construction business being so tight. She has started a new business called New Tricks, to help people put together blog websites or to change their existing sites to easily maintained blog platform sites, primarily on WordPress.
While sitting in Mom’s hospital room, Judi helped me get a new Domain and a Delux hosting account on Go Daddy. My domain name is LindaKnight.me, which we thought was very cool. The .me URL is new and so you are likely to find your name if you hurry. It typically takes a few hours for Go Daddy to get the site active and once it was Judi showed me how to have Go Daddy set up a WordPress account and database for my new site. Presto, that was done it a flash.
I am now playing with different themes and will be adding my own photos to the site over the next few weeks. So stay tuned and see what develops. You too can have New Tricks set up your site. Judi offers customization, graphics, writing and social network marketing services as well. Check her out.
